Ottawa Expansion Update

No, you’re not getting a new NHL team – I’m afraid you’re still stuck with the Senators.

Sorry to get your hopes up.

The expansion I’m talking about is FlexNetworks growth in the Capital Region. We’ve kept our noses to the grindstone these past months, quietly building our fibre footprint, adding customers and bringing over 7,600 businesses and 3,200 buildings within 500 metres of our fibre backbone.

Kris Kelly, our Ottawa-based Senior Account Executive, passed his one-year anniversary in February and thanks to his efforts during these very-difficult past twelve months, we have successfully expanded our fibre optic footprint into two highly regarded business districts in the City: Pinecrest-Queensway and Kanata North.

This will allow FlexNetworks to offer our standard 1 Gbps and higher services – both Internet and Ethernet Private line – into the Morrison Business Park, Iris/Baxter corridor, Queensview and the Pinecrest end of Carling avenue, as well as the March Road/Legget/Solandt and Herzberg Drive areas in Canada’s high-tech headquarters; and the added bonus is that we can expand our Dark Fibre reach from our existing ring into these areas.

We truly have become the alternative to the ‘usual suspects’ in Ottawa – offering robust, reliable and most importantly, diverse connectivity options. If you’re looking for carrier-diversity or just a competitive quote, please give us a look.
